Personal experience working on Rotary events – Gabby Ma
“I’ve been an intern for Mr. Semmelmeyer for about a year now. This was my first internship so I didn’t really know what to expect at first, but now, after a year I’m able to say that here in Castro Valley, we have a really great community with a lot of hard working people who plan and put so much effort into what happens around here. Behind the scenes it can get a little chaotic, still everyone is always putting in their all in order to achieve a smooth event takes place. I think it is very important for people to be involved in their community and not just attend events. It can be a lot, but it is very rewarding and it definitely makes you feel like you’re apart of the community overall. So, to anyone who might be interested in being involved I highly encourage you to get to know your community and get to understand the love and energy poured into every Castro Valley event!”
