Can I purchase tickets on the day of the event?

Tickets can only be purchased if they haven't sold out online, so it's a good idea to buy early—only 700 are available.

How does the food process work?

As you visit each participating business, your lanyard QR code will be scanned and tracked. Each scan marks your visit to a food stop, and you can sample different bites from local restaurants, caterers, and other businesses.

What happens if I complete my lanyard/punch card?

Nothing special happens when you finish—just the end of the event. However, if you return your participant lanyard to the Forestr booth, you’ll have a chance to win raffle prizes!

Will the streets be closed?

No, the event takes place along the sidewalks of Castro Valley Boulevard, so the street remains open. You’ll be able to stroll and explore without road closures.

How many businesses are participating?

This year over 30 of Castro Valley's favorite businesses are participating.

Participants receive a tasting lanyard that is punched at each participating stop, allowing them to sample bites and beverages from more than 30 local businesses while exploring the vibrant downtown corridor.

Along the way, guests can enjoy live music, connect with local merchants, and discover new favorite restaurants and eateries. The event is designed as a relaxed community walk—grab your friends, bring your appetite, and enjoy an evening of food, fun, and local discovery.
